1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Esports Centric ("we", "us", "the Site"), accessible at www.esportscentric.xyz. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. The Site is hosted on Google's Blogger platform, so your use is also subject to the Blogger Content Policy and Google Terms of Service.
2. Who We Are (And Are Not)
Esports Centric is an independent esports media platform. We publish news, analysis, tournament coverage, and career listings. We are not an employer, recruitment agency, staffing firm, talent agency, tournament operator for third-party events, or a party to any transaction between our readers and any third party.
3. Career & Job Listings — Read This Carefully
⚠️ GOLDEN RULE: NEVER pay anyone — money, fees, deposits, "processing charges", gift cards, in-game currency, or anything of value — to obtain a job, interview, or "guaranteed placement" found through Esports Centric. Legitimate employers do not charge candidates. Anyone demanding payment in exchange for a job opportunity is attempting to scam you. Refuse, and report them to us immediately at esportscentric@gmail.com.
3.1 We are a bridge only. Our Career section exists solely to connect companies/organizations ("Employers") with job seekers ("Candidates"). Esports Centric acts as a neutral notice board — a middle bridge. We do not employ, place, represent, vouch for, or guarantee any Employer or Candidate.
3.2 No verification guarantee. While we screen listings in good faith before publishing, we cannot and do not verify the identity, legitimacy, solvency, or conduct of any Employer, nor the accuracy of any listing. Listings may change or be withdrawn without notice.
3.3 Your duty of care. It is solely the user's responsibility to research, evaluate, and decide what is good or bad for them before applying, interviewing, sharing personal documents, signing contracts, or accepting any offer. Exercise the same caution you would with any stranger on the internet.
3.4 No liability. Esports Centric, its owners, staff, and partners are not liable for any loss, damage, fraud, unpaid salary, dispute, injury, or harm of any kind arising from contact, communication, application, employment, or any other dealing between Candidates and Employers — whether the listing appeared on our Site, Discord, or social channels. All such dealings are strictly between the Candidate and the Employer.
3.5 We never charge candidates. Esports Centric never charges job seekers for access to listings, applications, or referrals. Anyone claiming to represent us and asking for payment is an imposter — report them.
4. Content & Intellectual Property
All original articles, graphics, and branding on this Site are the property of Esports Centric unless stated otherwise. You may share our articles with credit and a link back. You may not republish full articles, scrape our content, or use our branding without written permission. Game titles, team names, logos, and tournament assets referenced in our coverage belong to their respective owners and are used for news reporting and commentary under fair use/fair dealing principles.
5. User Conduct & Comments
When commenting or participating in our community you agree not to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, spam, or that infringes others' rights. We may remove content and restrict access at our discretion. Comments represent their authors, not Esports Centric.
6. Third-Party Links & Services
The Site contains links to third-party websites, Discord servers, and social platforms, and uses third-party services including Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Google News/Publisher Center. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. See our Privacy Policy for details on data.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Esports coverage moves fast; information may become outdated.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Esports Centric and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or any dealings initiated through it — including, without limitation, the Career section as described in Section 3.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Esports Centric from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
